Allie Hughes’ presence is unquantifiable, she immediately radiates the kind of grace, and strangeness that leaves you plainly- infatuated with her. With her cabaret-style song and dance, her bizarre yet beautiful vocals, and her comical disposition, she played an orchestral set that was commanding and animated. Everything about her is a performer. With the help of a fleet of friends, an accordion, guitar and drums, Allie introduced us into a new realm of experimental music (sound effects and all).
